Many high school students feel pressure to go on to more schooling after graduation. That could take them to a 4-year college, a technical school, or other career training. But how do they know what career they want to pursue before spending years of time and thousands of dollars on education and preparation?
Careers in the skilled trades offer a money-smart alternative for some young adults, and they can find out more about the opportunities at UA 400 when they host their first-ever open house for high school students on Wed, Sept 26 from 2-5PM. Students, along with their parents, teachers, and friends, are welcome to see demonstrations of the trades and talk about what a career looks like for them.
