OCONTO, Wis. — A Gillett man who killed a retired police officer in a hit-and-run crash reaches a plea deal with prosecutors.
Obilio Sargento Roblero is convicted in Oconto County Court on one count of hit and run involving death.
Sargento Roblero struck a UTV operated by former Green Bay officer Thomas Roberts along a road near Gillett before driving off in October of 2024.
He faces up to 25 years in prison when sentenced on Sept. 8.
