Battleground state Wisconsin played a big role in launching JFK to the White House.
In the book “Wisconsin for Kennedy: The Primary that Launched a President and Changed the Course of History,” author B.J. Hollars brings to life the stories behind JFK’s history-making 1960 Wisconsin primary campaign and writes how Kennedy’s team managed to outplay his opponent, Hubert Humphrey.
The book was published March 12 from the Wisconsin Historical Society Press.

Author B.J. Hollars, professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, joined Hayley Tenpas during Focus Fox Valley to discuss his book and the research he poured into it.
