Chef Jeff’s Seven Layer Salad [RECIPE]

Chef Jeff’s Seven Layer Salad 

• Iceberg Lettuce, rough chopped 1 head
• Mayonnaise 2 Cups
• Black Pepper, ground Optional
• Peas, green, blanched, or thawed from frozen 1½ Cups
• Onion, green, medium dice ¾ Cup
• Celery, medium dice ¾ Cup
• Cheddar Cheese, shredded 8 ounces
• Bacon, cooked, crumbled 1 Cup

Directions

1. In a large pan at least 10×13, layer the salad in the order of ingredients as listed,
   1. Lettuce
   2. Mayonnaise
   3. Black pepper (optional)
   4. Peas
   5. Green Onions
   6. Celery
   7. Cheddar Cheese
   8. Bacon
2. Allow the salad to marry for at least one hour before service.
3. Reserve for service. Preparing 2-4 hours or more in advance is effective to allow the flavors to marry.
